Mint Hotel Westminster

This was Studio Proof’s first hotel project and what a start. Overall winner of SLEEP European hotel design awards 2003, and RIBA and Westminster Civic Trust awards 2003.
Collaborating alongside Bennetts Associates Architects, the interior designs included reception and lounges, cocktail bar, restaurant and dispense bar, conferencing, and fine-tuning an existing bedroom concept.
Clean lines and fresh spaces gave an uncluttered, innovative, and strictly modern space, punctuated with the dramatic use of colour and rich timbers, and bespoke art installations.
The ‘Millbank Lounge’ bar became an infamous cocktail destination for the policital set, and features a stunning red glass and resin-stone avenue, sitting beneath with huge red glowing Barrisol ceiling panels.
